Character Mashup

This week's second project we were to mashup a famous artwork with a fictional character. I chose the famous painting 'The Scream' and covered the face with V.

Mandala

This week's project we were to make a Mandala. We started off by choosing five pictures and creating a patterned template for a slice of a circle. A layer style was applied to give it its sketch-like look, than it was duplicated many times to create a full circle of reoccurring patterns. Lastly, color was added to give my finished project.

Animation

This time our class made animations.I illustrated a basketball being thrown; using the brush tool and a couple pictures comes my final result.

The Scribble Effect

This week's assignment we were to play with the masking effect. I chose an animal (a wolf) and isolated it from its background; I then created a mask and through the use of many variety of brushes, gave it an overall ghostly appearance. A scenic background was found and its layer styles were altered to produce this final picture.

Candy Package

This week we were to create our own candy packaging. I used the standard box template, changing it with many gradient filters and layer properties.

Travel Poster

This week's project we were to make a travel poster on any place in the world. Growing up in Vancouver, I decided to do it on the city I grew up in. I found a nice scenic picture of Vancouver on the internet and changed its layer styles giving it a nicer and more calming view. A text layer was created and rasterized, it was then blurred and an outer glow was added giving my final awesome picture

This week's project was a random project. We were to chose an animal and fill it up with different images to create a collage. I found many images, cropped it out and fitted it around,
